A little room to breathe

You don’t have to carry
it all alone.

Grief can change the shape of everyday life. The phone call you can no longer make. The quiet moments. The joy that arrives alongside sadness. STILL is being created as a place to understand those experiences, feel what you feel, and connect with others who understand.

Letters to My Mumma

Letters, reflections and continuing bonds. A little space to begin.

Still loving.
Still connected.
Still here.

A note from the founder

Hi, I’m Tamara.

I’m creating STILL from a place of love, lived experience and a desire to help others feel less alone.

After caring for my mum and losing her, I began writing letters to her — telling her about my days, my grief and the things I still wanted to share. Those letters became a way of keeping our connection close.

With a background in clinical Pilates and nutritional health coaching, I’m developing a new direction that brings grief education, gentle movement and human connection together. The groups are being shaped alongside my grief training, before launch.

This is a community taking shape, gently. A place to carry love forward.

With love, Tamara x

Some things
we still want to say.

A letter can make room for what’s on your heart. To your mum, or someone else you love and miss. There’s no need to make it beautiful. Just begin.

Try a quiet moment of writing here. Your words stay in this page while it’s open; they aren’t submitted or saved to a server.

Dear you,

Today I wanted to call you because…

A few things to know

Come with
questions.

Do I have to share my story?

No. Our planned groups will make room for listening as well as sharing. Speaking, movement and writing will be invitations, with a choice to pause or sit out.

Is this counselling or therapy?

STILL is being developed to offer grief education, connection and wellbeing support. It will not provide counselling, psychotherapy or medical treatment, and is not a crisis service. Professional support can sit alongside community support.

When can I join a group?

The first program is in development. Dates, venue, pricing and an enquiry route will be added once training and the launch arrangements are complete. Bookings are not open yet.

Who is the first program for?

The planned founding program is for women navigating life after the death of their mum. Future circles and wellbeing days may welcome a broader range of losses; each offering will explain who it is intended for.

What if I need support right now?

You don’t need to wait for a group to ask for help. Contact your GP or an existing grief counsellor. In Australia, Lifeline is available on 13 11 14. If you’re in immediate danger, call 000.

Love, still.

We learn to live differently.
The love comes with us.

Our first Brisbane gatherings are being thoughtfully developed.
Until then, there is space here to pause and write.
